Special Hobby is working on 1/48 and 1/72 SF-260 kits.
Special Hobby is the second company this week to announce the future release of a SIAI-Marchetti SF-260 in 1/72 scale. Kovozávody Prostĕjov [KP] announced earlier this week they will be releasing six new kits soon

Pictures of some molds in progress from our workshop. We are working on the 1/72 SF-260, the mold for the small parts is ready. The 1/48 Si 204E/C-3B is planned for next year. Next week we are putting the last galvanic mold for the 1/32 Westland Whirlwind into the injection machine. We are also working on the mold for the 1/72 Sd.Anh 115.

The next boxing - ref. SH724?? - SIAI-Marchetti SF-260D&EA will be provided with the higher (modern) canopy type
The second test construction after the repair of minor defects. We are satisfied, 10.11. you can look forward to the premiere of this kit SH72418 SIAI Marchetti SF-260M/AM/W. The kit itself has a span of about 11.5 cm. So the photos show things that are not visible to the naked eye. We take large photos in high resolution. Unlike others who take micro-pictures with a low-quality camera, we don't need to hide or hide something.
The Italian SF-260 trainer, aerobatic and light sports aircraft is used world wide. In Europe, it has been operated by the Italian and Belgian air forces as well as by the Irish Air Corps.
The model is laid out to five styrene sprues including a clear one with the early, no so bulged canopy hood. Colour schemes and decals for Italian, Belgian and Irish M, AM and W version machines are provided. Later machines of so-called second generation known as the SF-260EA/D with larger canopy hood are in the making now too and will be offered in another boxing.
The decal sheet bring markings for a Belgian anniversary machine, an Italian of similar significance and for one standard Irish SF-260, which on the other hand can boost with some underwing armament carried on two pylons.

Photos of Ondra Hájka show one built and one built model Special Hobby SH72418 SIAI Marchetti SF-260. Both models, built and built are the work of Martin Pfeifer. The built model is in belgian air force colors, the second model finishes as an orange aeronautica militare machine. Both machines offer decals of the SH72418.
