Многобашенная компоновка довольно быстро стара архаизмом, но в остальном танк отличался хорошими характеристиками и продержался в серийном выпуске до 1940 года, постоянно меняясь и модернизируясь. Конечно к концу 30ых годов он устарел, а война с Финляндией выявила недостаток бронирования и другие недостатки. Тем не менее эти машины успели принять участие в Великой Отечественной войне, а для нашего танкостроения Т-28 и вовсе оказался знаковой машиной.
Набор - полностью новая разработка Звезды. Еще при создании модели Т-35 Звезда упоминала о обмерах Т-28 в ЦМВС (башни у Т-28 и Т-35 одинаковые) и многие верили в скорый выпуск модели Т-28. Они оказались правы. Так как за основу была взята машина из ЦМВС - то и модель представляет из себя танк выпуска 1934 года, впоследствии прошедший модернизацию на Кировском заводе и получивший черты машин выпуска 1936-37 годов.
Коробка в фирменном стиле Звезды - мягкая цветная коробка с плотной коробкой из толстого картона внутри. Лицевую сторону коробки украшает бокс-арт в исполнении Андрея Жирнова, на тыльной стороне - пример исполнения модели в готовом виде. На этот раз одна коробка легко достается из другой.
Сами детали упакованы в общий пакет, прозрачные детали, декали и капроновая сеточка упакованы в индивидуальный пакет. Детали в коробке лежат плотно, не болтаются. В целом коробка должна без проблем пережить возможные тяготы почтовой пересылки.
Инструкция в фирменном стиле Звезды, с парой вариантов сборки модели. Есть мелкие ошибки, с путаницей вариативных этапов сборки.
Схема окраски цветная, с указаниями цветов по палитре Мастер-Акрила и Тамии. Вариантов окраски целых четыре, в том числе на камуфляжную и зимнюю машины.
Сама декаль напечатана фирмой "Бегемот" и отличается хорошим качеством. Смещений цветов и ступенек нет. Мелкая надпись с лозунгом для зимнего варианта окраски отлично читается.
Кроме декалей в прозрачном пакете лежит капроновая сеточка для имитации деталей на МТО и пара прозрачных стекол для фар.
И конечно же - отливки.
10 рамок из зеленого пластика. Сам пластик мягкий, хорошо обрабатывается и клеится, но довольно сильно растворяется супер-текучими клеями, будьте внимательны.
Литье хорошее, но есть огрехи в виде утяжин. Они встречаются на бортах корпуса, в районе внутренних усилений. В прочим этих утяжин не будет видно после сборки. Так же пара утяжин есть на крепеже буксирных коушей на корме, вот тут понадобится шпаклевка.
В остальном - все ок. Следы от стыка прессформ малозаметные, смещений нет. На ряде отливок есть белесые разводы от попадания влаги в полистерол, но на физические свойства отливок это не влияет и исчезнет под слоем грунтовки.
Деталировка радует глаз. Мельчайшие сварные швы, болты и заклепки, очень подробная деталировка ходовой части и возможность снять экраны и показать это великолепие.
Даже ствол пушки полый и с нарезами изнутри!
Траки - полунаборные, с хорошим рельефом и провисом на верхней ветви гусениц.
Решетка над радиатором на МТО изнутри выделена расшивкой, что упростит замену на фототравленую деталь при необходимость.
С другой стороны для новичков модель будет сложной, из-за большого числа деталей и мелочевки. При сборке стоит быть аккуратным, что бы сохранить фактуру сварных швов и тд.
В целом набор производит отличное впечатление и радует вниманием к деталям. Не зря при разработке модели обмеряли реальный прототип. Стройка модели обещает быть интересной!

Точеные стволы выполнены из латуни. Ствол пушки обладает более правильной толщиной стенок, по сравнению с родной пластиковой деталью. В пластике калибр скорее 85-90мм, да и сам ствол толстоват.
Под установку точеной детали нужно будет срезать часть пластикового ствола с детали F7.
Точеные стволы пулеметов собираются из двух деталей. При установке на модель лучше всего ориентироваться на пластиковые детали для правильной установки точеных стволов на глубине.
Краска упакована в прозрачный пузырек, похожий на банки Валлехо, Зип-Макета и тд. Внутри - акриловая краска, почти без запаха, по консистенции подходящая под окраску и кистью, и аэрографом прямо из банки. При необходимости - разводится водой. Пигмент имеет свойство расслаиваться, но это свойственно всем краскам. Перед употреблением - взбалтывать!)

Таблички с именами партийных деятелей отлиты из литьевого пластика. Достаточно просто срезать их с литника и установить на модель. Надписи "Андрей Жданов" лучше не вырезать по контуру, а аккуратно срезать пилкой с основания или сточить их подложку на наждачной бумаге.
Флаги напечатаны на тонкой бумаге. Для установки их на модель нужно вырезать половинки флага по контуру и склеить на ПВА, а затем приклеить к древку. В качестве древка лучше всего использовать металлические трубочки/прутки или тянутый литник.
Трос сделан из меди и обладает реалистичной фактурой. Длинны отрезка хватает на два троса. Коуши стоит оставить пластиковые, вклеив трос в них.
Смываемая краска "известка" для зимнего камуфляжа наносится поверх основного цвета и смывается водой. Не нужны никакие спец-жидкости или лак для волос. В скором времени мы посвятим этой краске отдельный пост.
