S-199 is designed to be released in two versions. This is the older one, with Bf 109G-10 Erla type canopy hatch. There is also undernose oil cooler with specific shape, used in first 25 produced S-199 shown on this picture.
This is late and standard version of the S-199, which was produced in more than 500 pieces. The modified canopy and the smooth bottom engine cowl are the main specific details of this aircraft. Our kit has the extra fuselage for each variant.
The early version of the nose, with specifically shaped oil cooler. Only 25 aircraft were equipped by this cooler. The final design of the nose of S-199, with the heat exchanger replacing the oil cooler.

Some S-199 were equipped by two MG 131 machine guns mounted in the wings, which will be an weapon option of our kit.
