We didn't just pre-order a new product from Airfix! We have obtained the test castings of this model and have prepared an exclusive review for you!
Two versions of the tank - Cromwell MK4 and MK6 - were immediately cast in the plastic.
The castings themselves make a very pleasant impression and are very similar to the castings of The Academy, whose models pack Airfix.
Very pleased with the overall detail of the model. There is a texture of welds, very good look goujon on the tower. Good hollow trunks, cast in reusable forms.
But the loops look a little flat. Well, the lookout devices of course would look better in transparent plastic.
There are also traces of pushers from the hatches, and on separate trucks.
By the way, trucks are given in two types - vinyl and semi-set trucks. Unfortunately semi-sets without sagging, and in general, suddenly, vinyl looks very good. Soft, fastened without problems.
Please small details, like antennas and other small things, cast very carefully and without flaws.
In general, the model is very self-sufficient, at the level of novelties from the Korean Academy. You can recommend for a nice short-ing assembly. Well, the aesthetics of the prototype and the choice of different assembly options will please connoisseurs of the theme of British armored vehicles!

В пластике сразу отлиты две версии танка - Cromwell MK4 и MK6.
Сами отливки производят очень приятное впечатление и очень похожи на отливки фирмы Academy, чьи модели пакует Airfix.
Очень радует общая деталировка модели. Есть фактура сварных швов, очень хорошо выглядят гужоны на башне. Хороши полые стволы, отлитые в многоразъёмные формы.
А вот петли выглядят несколько плоскими. Ну и смотровые приборы конечно лучше бы смотрелись в прозрачном пластике.
Так же встречаются следы от толкателей с изнанки люков, и на отдельных траках.
Кстати траки даны в двух видах - винил и полу-наборные траки. К сожалению полу-наборки без провиса, и в целом, внезапно, винил выглядит очень неплохо. Мягкий, скрепляется без проблем.
Радуют мелкие детали, вроде антенн и прочей мелочи, отлитые очень аккуратно и без огрехов.
В целом модель весьма самодостаточная, на уровне новинок от корейской Academy. Можно рекомендовать для приятной изкоробочной сборки. Ну а эстетика прототипа и выбор разных вариантов сборки порадуют ценителей темы британской бронетехники!
